Making the Web Work for Community.
MahZeh Creations

Emanuel Congregation
MahZeh crafted this original stained glass design from photographs of the synagogue building’s beautiful windows, and then built the emanuelcongregation.org web site from scratch around it.
Among the functional features distinguishing Emanuel Congregation’s from other synagogue web sites is the use of interactive mapping to contextualize this organization among related institutions nearby. In addition to providing useful information to its members and guests, features like this emphasize the synagogue’s dedication to its surrounding physical community.
More to Come.
This is only the beginning for Emanuel Congregation. The organization has partnered with MahZeh to implement an ambitious strategy for future growth based in part on additions to its web site, including:
- PHP-based content management, enabling organizational staff and volunteers with minimal technical background to keep information on the site current and accurate.
- Online events management, allowing volunteers to collaboratively develop new programming through an online interface, without dependence on scheduled in-person meetings.
- Member rolls management, leveraging the effeciency of computer databasing to track institution members and program participants, including automated email notification and RSVP-taking for events.
