Transitions
There is an awful lot going on at MahZeh these days, but you couldn’t tell by looking at the web site, where updates have been… well, where there haven’t been any updates at all! Primarily, this owes to time spent over the last several weeks establishing a new relationship with another great web/software development shop specializing in the empowerment of nonprofits and other doers of good: Fuse IQ.
Joel will now be building and custom-engineering sites, primarily in Drupal, for Fuse IQ and its clients. This is a lovely arrangement, because Fuse IQ is a lovely team working with lovely organizations. It does, however, mean that some MahZeh projects were slowed down a bit.
That said, there are some great coming attractions worth staying tuned for! MahZeh is developing a powerful new Drupal module for community events management, which will be showcased in an upcoming “Web 2.0″ application for Jewish community networking. Also in the pipeline are new projects for a national graduate students group, an innovative American-Israeli-Canadian artist, and several groundbreaking international Jewish organizations.
As if that all weren’t enough, there are a number of exciting developments this summer from MahZeh friends and associates, including Moshav HaAm’s All Maggidic Conference in Berkeley and the PresenTense Institute for Creative Zionism in Jerusalem.
